WINTER (aespa)

Kim Min-jeong, better known as Winter, is a South Korean singer and dancer born on January 1, 2001, in Busan, South Korea. She rose to fame as a member of the K-pop girl group aespa, formed by SM Entertainment in November 2020. Known for her talent, Winter quickly became one of the standout members of the group, celebrated for her powerful vocals, dancing skills, and striking visuals.

Winter spent her early childhood in Busan before moving to Yangsan, Gyeongsangnam-do. Growing up, she was close to her older brother, who was born in 1999. She attended Yangsan Samsung Elementary School and later went to Yangsan Samsung Middle School, where she began to nurture her passion for music and performance.

In November 2020, Winter made her official debut with aespa as the main vocalist, lead dancer, and visual. The group’s debut single, “Black Mamba,” gained significant attention and helped aespa become one of the most promising K-pop groups. Winter’s presence on stage has earned her praise for her precise and captivating dance moves, setting her apart as one of the most skilled performers in the group.

In addition to her work with aespa, Winter also became a member of the supergroup Girls On Top in 2022, joining the first unit, Got the Beat.
