Wallows 

Wallows is an American alternative rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, consisting of Dylan Minnette (vocals and guitar), Braeden Lemasters (vocals and guitar), and Cole Preston (drums). Their musical journey began in their youth when Minnette and Lemasters started playing together at just 11 years old through a program called “Join the Band” in the San Fernando Valley.

Originally known as The Narwhals in 2011, the band rebranded as Wallows in 2017. Their big break came that year with the release of their debut single, “Pleaser,” which quickly gained attention, climbing to number two on Spotify’s Global Viral 50 chart. This success led to a signing with Atlantic Records in 2018.

The band’s discography includes their debut album Nothing Happens (2019), produced by Grammy-winner John Congleton, which featured the platinum-certified hit “Are You Bored Yet?” featuring Clairo. Wallows continued their rise with the 2020 EP Remote and their second full-length album, Tell Me That It’s Over, in 2022. In 2024, they dropped their third album, Model.

Wallows’ music draws influences from artists like Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, and The Libertines, blending alternative rock, post-punk, and indie pop into a dynamic sound. Their continuous evolution and ability to craft relatable, catchy tunes have cemented their place in the modern rock scene.
