Turbo

Chandler A. Great, better known as Turbo, is an American record producer and songwriter born on August 9, 1994, in College Park, Georgia. He has gained widespread recognition for his groundbreaking contributions to the hip-hop and trap music scenes, working with top artists like Young Thug, Gunna, Lil Baby, Nav, and Travis Scott.

Turbo’s musical journey began in his teenage years. While still a student at Banneker High School, he developed an interest in music production and honed his skills by watching YouTube tutorials and experimenting with software like ProTools. After graduating in 2012, Turbo took the leap into professional production in 2013, drawing inspiration from music industry heavyweights like Swizz Beatz and Kanye West.

His big break came when he collaborated closely with Young Thug, helping to shape the distinct sound of Atlanta’s hip-hop scene. Turbo also co-executive produced Gunna’s debut studio album, Drip or Drown 2, alongside fellow producer Wheezy. The album’s success was undeniable, debuting at number one on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

Outside of the studio, Turbo has built a strong social media presence, amassing over 400,000 followers on Instagram. His unique ability to fuse traditional Southern hip-hop with modern trap elements has firmly established him as a prominent figure in today’s music production landscape.
