Tremaine Aldon Neverson, professionally known as Trey Songz, is a renowned American R&B singer, songwriter, and actor, born on November 28, 1984, in Petersburg, Virginia. Raised by his mother and stepfather, he developed a passion for music in his teenage years, which led to his breakthrough in 2005 with his debut album I Gotta Make It. The album reached number 20 on the Billboard 200, marking the start of his successful career in the music industry.

Trey continued to solidify his place in R&B with albums like Trey Day (2007) and Ready (2009). His single “Can’t Help but Wait” from Trey Day earned a Grammy nomination, while “Say Aah” from Ready made its way into the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100.
