Michael Marcagi

Michael Marcagi, an emerging singer-songwriter from Cincinnati, Ohio, has quickly gained recognition for his folk-rock style and poignant storytelling. Growing up in Cincinnati, Marcagi developed a love for music early on, picking up the guitar and drawing inspiration from legendary artists like John Prine and Jim Croce.

Before embarking on his solo career, Marcagi was the frontman of the alternative rock band, The Heavy Hours. However, in 2023, he took the leap into solo music with his debut single, “The Other Side.” The track, which explores the struggles of small-town life, went viral on TikTok, gaining millions of views and helping Marcagi gain a dedicated fanbase.

Building on this momentum, Marcagi signed with Warner Records and released his second single, “Scared to Start,” in early 2024.
