Lawrence Oyor

Lawrence Gomba Oyor, born on June 16, 1991, in Ibadan, Nigeria, is a gospel singer, evangelist, and the founder of the Davidic Generation Church. He is best known for his fiery revival chants, particularly his song “Bowl of Fire,” which has become a hallmark of his ministry. His work aims to inspire spiritual passion and fervor, especially among the youth, encouraging them to pursue a deeper connection with God.

Raised in a deeply religious family, Lawrence is the twin brother of Pastor Godswill Oyor. Their parents, the late Reverend Gomba Fortune Oyor and Reverend Patience Oyor, were both respected figures in the Christian community. Lawrence initially pursued a law degree at the University of Ibadan, graduating in 2013. However, his passion for ministry led him to fully dedicate himself to spreading the gospel and igniting revival through music and preaching.

In 2020, Lawrence married Darasimi Gloria Bamiloye, a renowned writer, playwright, and film producer. Together, they lead the Davidic Generation Church, a place dedicated to fostering spiritual growth and a hunger for God’s presence. Beyond his ministry, Lawrence founded Catalyst Network International, a global initiative focused on empowering individuals to spread the message of Christ. His life and work continue to inspire many, reflecting his unwavering commitment to faith and service to the community.
