Tom Dice, born Tom Eeckhout on November 25, 1989, in Eeklo, Belgium, is a talented Belgian singer-songwriter recognized for his emotive pop and acoustic music. His love for music began early, learning to play guitar as a child and writing songs in his teens. At 15, he formed a band called The Dice, a name he would later adopt as his stage persona. In 2008, Tom gained widespread attention when he finished as the runner-up in the Flemish version of The X Factor, propelling him into the spotlight.

Following his success on The X Factor, Tom signed with the label SonicAngel and released his debut single, an acoustic cover of Leona Lewis’s “Bleeding Love” in 2009. The track achieved great success in Belgium, climbing into the top 10. In 2010, Tom represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest with his original song “Me and My Guitar,” finishing in 6th place—Belgium’s best result in the competition since the introduction of semi-finals.
