Rosalía

Rosalía Vila Tobella, known mononymously as Rosalía, was born on September 25, 1992, in Sant Esteve Sesrovires, Catalonia, Spain. Growing up in a Catalan-speaking family without an artistic background, Rosalía discovered her passion for music at an early age. Her fascination with the discography of Camarón de la Isla sparked her deep interest in flamenco, which she pursued rigorously. By the age of 14, she was already enthralled by Spanish folk music, leading her to study musicology at the Catalonia College of Music.
