Darell is a prominent figure in the reggaeton and Latin trap music scenes, celebrated for his distinctive voice and contributions to some of the genre’s most iconic hits. His journey in music began in Puerto Rico, where he was born and raised, before moving to New York, a move that would influence his musical style and career trajectory.

Darell’s passion for music was evident early on, leading him to form a duo called Darell & Belto with a fellow musician named Belto in 2010. Together, they released several tracks, including “Entrega a la maldad,” “Sateo,” and “Si te dicen,” which laid the foundation for Darell’s future in the music industry. However, it wasn’t long before Darell embarked on a solo career, which quickly began to take off. In 2011, he made his first significant appearance as a solo artist on the album Parandoles La Movie by Pichy Boy & Skaary. This opportunity allowed him to showcase his talent on tracks like “Bala” and “No quiere compromiso,” setting the stage for his solo journey.

As Darell continued to establish himself as a solo artist, he released several tracks under La Pompa Music, including hits like “La verdad,” “La calle esta mala,” and “No digas na.” These songs resonated with audiences and demonstrated his ability to craft compelling music that reflected the realities of life in the streets.
