About Queen Naija
Queen Naija Bulls, known professionally as Queen Naija, is an American R&B singer and digital creator who rose to fame through her candid storytelling and emotionally honest music. Born on October 17, 1995, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, she comes from a diverse background—Yemeni on her father’s side and African-American on her mother’s—something that has shaped both her identity and artistry. Her first stage was the church, where she grew up singing and developing the soulful voice fans know today.
Queen Naija initially gained public attention on YouTube through the joint channel “Chris and Queen,” which she shared with her then-husband. After their split, she went solo—both in life and on screen—and quickly built a loyal fanbase with her heartfelt vlogs and original music. Her 2017 single “Medicine,” a raw track about heartbreak and healing, went viral and marked her breakthrough into the music industry, eventually landing at #45 on the Billboard Hot 100.
In 2018, she signed with Capitol Records and released her debut EP, which included fan favorites like “Karma” and “Butterflies.” Her first full-length album, Missunderstood (2020), debuted in the Billboard Top 10 and showcased her growth as a singer-songwriter unafraid to be vulnerable. A deluxe version followed in 2021 with even more personal tracks.
Now a mother of two, Queen Naija continues to balance motherhood, music, and content creation. Whether through her songs or social media, she remains a powerful voice for self-love, resilience, and authenticity.
