Alex Campos

Alex Campos, born Édgar Alexánder Campos Mora on September 10, 1976, in Bogotá, Colombia, is one of Latin America’s most influential voices in contemporary Christian music. Raised as the eldest of four siblings in a difficult home environment, Alex found strength and direction through his faith early in life. By the age of 12, he was already involved in church music, and at 17, he founded the group Misión Vida, officially launching a career that would touch millions.

Blending Latin rhythms with heartfelt lyrics rooted in spirituality and life’s struggles, Campos has created a signature sound that resonates far beyond church walls. Albums like Al Taller del Maestro (2003), Cuidaré de Ti (2008), and Lenguaje de Amor (2010) showcase his ability to combine powerful messages with accessible melodies. His songs often reflect his own personal transformation, offering encouragement and hope.
