PVRIS

PVRIS, pronounced “Paris” and stylized as PVRIS, is an American pop-rock band that emerged from Lowell, Massachusetts, in 2012. Initially formed by vocalist and guitarist Lyndsey “Lynn” Gunnulfsen, bassist Brian MacDonald, and guitarist Alex Babinski, the band originally went by the name Operation Guillotine before rebranding to PVRIS in 2013 due to legal issues.

Their debut album, White Noise, released in 2014, brought them into the spotlight with standout tracks like “You and I” and “My House.” These songs helped the band gain significant airplay and carve out their place in the alternative music scene. PVRIS continued their momentum with subsequent albums such as All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell (2017), Use Me (2020), and Evergreen (2023), with the latter featuring hits like “Goddess.”

Throughout their journey, PVRIS has undergone lineup changes, notably with Alex Babinski leaving the band in 2020. Despite these shifts, Gunnulfsen and MacDonald remained at the helm, steering the band’s evolution. PVRIS continues to blend electropop, synth-pop, and alternative rock, and their music resonates with a dedicated fan base worldwide. Their ability to adapt and innovate keeps them at the forefront of the alternative music scene.
