About Jack Harlow

Jack Harlow, born Jackman Thomas Harlow on March 13, 1998, in Louisville, Kentucky, is an American rapper and songwriter who has quickly become a prominent figure in the hip-hop and pop-rap scenes. Raised in the Highlands neighborhood of Louisville, Harlow’s love for rap started at the age of 12 when he began recording his own music using a Guitar Hero microphone and a laptop. He attended Atherton High School, where he not only honed his musical skills but also played varsity soccer.

In 2015, Harlow started his professional music journey, releasing a series of mixtapes and EPs. His breakthrough came in 2020 with the release of “Whats Poppin,” a track that exploded on platforms like TikTok, peaking at number two on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. This success earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance, and he was included in XXL’s 2020 Freshman Class. That year, he also released his debut album, That’s What They All Say, which went platinum.

Harlow continued to rise with high-profile collaborations, including the chart-topping “Industry Baby” with Lil Nas X in 2021. His second album, Come Home the Kids Miss You (2022), featured the smash hit “First Class.” In addition to his music career, Harlow made his acting debut in the 2023 remake of White Men Can’t Jump, showcasing his versatility beyond the music industry.
