Orange (VNM)

Orange, born Khương Hoàn Mỹ on February 15, 1997, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, is a rising star in the V-pop scene. She first gained widespread attention in 2018 with her collaboration with rapper Karik on the hit song “Người lạ ơi.” The track quickly became a massive success, accumulating over 100 million views on YouTube in just 38 days, marking a milestone in her career.

Before her breakthrough, Orange competed in the 2014 season of Nhân tố bí ẩn (The X-Factor Vietnam), where she was part of Hồ Ngọc Hà’s team but exited early. Her talent didn’t go unnoticed, and in 2017, she won the Người hóa thân số 1 competition. Initially performing under the name Quýt in the duo Quýt & Nho, she rebranded to “Orange” in 2018, marking the start of her solo journey.

In 2020, Orange left Superbrothers Entertainment due to contractual issues and launched her solo career. She dropped singles like “OK anh đúng” and teamed up with Hieuthuhai for a remix of the same track. Her 2021 song “Khi em lớn,” featuring Hoàng Dũng, garnered critical acclaim, and she impressed viewers on the show Thần tượng đối thần tượng.
