Neo Pistea

Sebastián Chinellato, better known as Neo Pistea, was born on October 5, 1994, in Merlo, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has been a driving force in the Argentine trap movement, shaping the genre with his bold fusion of hip-hop and Latin trap. With a style that blends hard-hitting beats and introspective lyricism, Neo Pistea has carved out a unique space in the Latin urban music scene.

His journey began in 2015 when he dropped early singles like White Chocolate, Tony The Kid, and Black Chocolate, quickly earning recognition for his distinctive sound. In 2017, he joined forces with Duki and YSY A to form Modo Diablo, a trap supergroup that played a pivotal role in elevating the genre in Argentina. Their collaboration pushed Latin trap into the mainstream, setting new standards for the movement.

Neo Pistea released his debut studio album, Punkdemia, in 2021, followed by Neo in 2023 and Culto in 2024, each project showcasing his artistic evolution. His work has been recognized with nominations at the prestigious Premios Carlos Gardel, solidifying his reputation as one of Argentina’s top urban artists. Beyond music, he ventured into acting in 2023, earning praise for his role as Huevo in Barrabrava, which led to a nomination for the Premios Cóndor de Plata.
