Julio Adonis Gross, better known as DJ Adoni, is a Dominican DJ, producer, and composer who has taken the Latin music scene by storm. Born and raised in the vibrant neighborhood of Los Mina in Santo Domingo Este, his love for music started at an early age, influenced by the energetic rhythms of merengue, salsa, bachata, and other tropical sounds.

At 16, he moved to the United States in search of new opportunities, working various jobs, including factory work in North Carolina. Despite the challenges, his passion for music never faded. His big break came during the COVID-19 pandemic when he turned to social media, sharing his electrifying mixes on YouTube. His online presence skyrocketed, attracting thousands of listeners eager for fresh Latin beats.

In 2021, Adoni made an even bigger splash with El Incomprendido, a hit collaboration with Farruko and DJ Víctor Cárdenas. The track was a massive success, topping the Billboard Latin Airplay chart and earning nominations for prestigious awards like the Billboard Latin Music Awards and the iHeartRadio Music Awards. It also won a Premio Juventud for “La Mezcla Perfecta.”
