Giggs

Nathaniel Thompson, better known by his stage name Giggs, is a British rapper and songwriter who has played a key role in shaping the UK hip-hop scene. Born on May 11, 1983, in Peckham, London, Giggs first made waves in the mid-2000s with his mixtapes and as a member of the rap collective SN1 (Spare No One).

His breakthrough came with the release of his debut album Walk in da Park in 2008, followed by Let Em Ave It in 2010. His 2016 album Landlord marked a career milestone, peaking at number two on the UK Albums Chart. Giggs continued to cement his place in the industry with the 2019 release of Big Bad… and Zero Tolerance in 2023, both of which reinforced his influence on the genre.

In addition to his music career, Giggs has ventured into acting, appearing in films like Anuvahood (2011) and Victim (2011). In 2024, he surprised fans by collaborating with the plant-based brand Oatly to launch “Custard by Giggs,” a product aimed at making dairy-free options more accessible in the UK.

Despite overcoming legal challenges, including a conviction for firearm possession in 2003, Giggs has remained a respected figure in UK rap. His work has inspired many artists, including Dave and Krept & Konan, and his resilience continues to motivate fans and fellow musicians alike.
