Growing up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Maggie began her musical journey at age seven, learning to play the harp. She later expanded her musical abilities, adding piano and guitar to her repertoire. Maggie attended The Gunston School and St. Andrew’s School in Delaware, where she nurtured her passion for music by participating in orchestra, choir, and jazz band while also teaching herself programming.
Rogers first gained widespread attention in 2016, when her track “Alaska” was played to Pharrell Williams during a master class at New York University’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. This encounter led to a record deal with Capitol Records, and she soon released her debut album, Heard It in a Past Life in 2019, which quickly climbed the Billboard charts, peaking at number two.
