Ludmila Oliveira da Silva, better known as Ludmilla, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, and actress born on April 24, 1995, in Rio de Janeiro. She first gained attention in 2012 with her hit song “Fala Mal de Mim,” which highlighted her powerful vocals and helped establish her as a leading figure in Brazilian funk carioca.

Initially performing under the stage name MC Beyoncé, Ludmilla changed her name in 2013 due to copyright issues. Her debut album, Hoje, released in 2014 under Warner Music, featured a fusion of funk, pop, and R&B. She continued to build on her success with subsequent albums such as A Danada Sou Eu (2016), Hello Mundo (2019), and Numanice #2 (2022). In 2020, she made history by becoming the first Afro-Latin American female artist to surpass one billion streams on Spotify.

Beyond her music career, Ludmilla has also ventured into acting, starring in a series for Globo TV. She is an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and publicly came out as bisexual in 2022, sparking important conversations about sexuality and representation in Brazilian media.
