Quando Rondo

Tyquian Terrel Bowman, professionally known as Quando Rondo, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter born on March 23, 1999, in Savannah, Georgia. Rising from the rich musical culture of Savannah, he began his career in 2017, catching attention with his breakout single “I Remember” featuring Lil Baby. The track’s success led him to sign with YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s Never Broke Again label in collaboration with Atlantic Records.

In 2020, Quando Rondo dropped his debut studio album, QPac, which made its debut on the Billboard 200 chart. The album featured collaborations with prominent artists like 2 Chainz, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Lil Durk, and Polo G, marking his growing influence in the hip-hop industry. His second album, Recovery, released in 2023, further solidified his position as a major force in the genre.

Despite his musical success, Quando Rondo’s career has been marred by legal troubles. In December 2024, he was sentenced to two years and nine months in federal prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy charges related to the possession and distribution of marijuana. The prosecution dropped additional charges for methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine distribution. After his sentencing, Rondo publicly apologized to his family and the people of Savannah.

Through his candid storytelling and melodic sound, Quando Rondo has become a notable figure in Southern hip-hop, using his personal experiences to connect with a wide audience.
