Lua de Santana

Lua de Santana is a Spanish-Brazilian artist celebrated for her ability to blend her rich cultural heritage into a distinctive musical style. Born in Vigo, Galicia, Spain, to a Spanish mother and a Brazilian father, Lua grew up immersed in a variety of musical influences, including Flamenco, Reggae, Soul, Bossa Nova, Tango, and Reggaeton. This eclectic background shaped her sound and artistic vision as she transitioned from Spain to Madrid and later to London.

In London, Lua pursued formal music education, earning a diploma in composition and singing, followed by a BA (Hons) in Music Business Management. During this time, she also explored jazz piano and honed her vocal skills, blending her Spanish and Brazilian roots with contemporary musical elements. This phase was crucial in developing her versatile approach to music, allowing her to merge diverse genres seamlessly.

Lua’s debut single, “PiRi PiRi,” released in September 2023, showcases her unique talent for fusing English and Portuguese lyrics. The track combines soulful melodies with funky rhythms, reflecting her broad musical influences. The music video, featuring self-directed choreography, emphasizes her multifaceted artistry.

In 2025, Lua is set to perform at O Marisquiño, a prestigious urban sports and culture festival in Vigo, marking an exciting milestone in her career.
