Leo Grewal

Leo Grewal, born into a farming family in Punjab, India, is a celebrated singer, lyricist, and composer known for his vibrant contributions to the Punjabi music scene. He is also recognized by his stage name, Dope Boy Leo.

Leo’s musical career began in the early 2010s when he joined forces with the renowned rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh. Their collaboration led to the release of “Break Up Party” in 2012, a hit track under the Mafia Mundeer label. Leo’s involvement with the Mafia Mundeer group helped establish him as a prominent figure in the industry.

Adopting the name Dope Boy Leo, he went on to release several successful tracks, including “Bam Bam Bholey” (2015), “Woofer Baja” (2016), and “Roller Coaster” (2020). In 2023, his collaboration with Yo Yo Honey Singh on “Can’t Find Me” marked a significant comeback, further enhancing his reputation. The same year, he announced his debut EP, “Retrospect.”

In March 2025, Leo released “Shopping List,” the lead single from his upcoming project “Leonization,” once again featuring Honey Singh. He described the experience as a remarkable journey, underscoring the importance of their collaboration.
