Sugarhill Ddot

Darrian Jimenez, known professionally as Sugarhill Ddot, is a rising star in the drill music scene, hailing from Harlem, New York City. Born on March 8, 2008, Ddot’s journey into music began at the young age of 13, initially crafting songs just for fun. However, with encouragement from friends and his growing passion, he soon took music more seriously, marking the start of his career.

Sugarhill Ddot gained widespread recognition with his breakout track, “I Wanna Love You,” in 2022, which sampled Akon’s iconic 2006 hit. He quickly solidified his place in the drill scene with tracks like “Stop Cappin” and “Real Facts,” which resonated with audiences, further expanding his presence. His YouTube channel alone has garnered over 156 million views, showcasing his rapid rise in the music industry.

In March 2023, Ddot signed a record deal with Priority Records, leading to the release of his debut mixtape, 1st Side of the Story, in April 2023. This was followed by his debut album, 2 Sides of the Story, in August 2024, featuring collaborations with notable artists such as Hunxho, the late PnB Rock, Skilla Baby, and Luh Tyler.

Drawing inspiration from figures like Lil Durk, Sugarhill Ddot has become an influential voice in the New York drill movement.
