Layia Watkins, better known by her stage name Lay Bankz, is a rising American singer, rapper, and songwriter born on June 11, 2004, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. With Eritrean and African American roots, Lay Bankz developed a love for music early in life, writing her first raps at the age of 10. By 15, she had released her debut single, “Passion,” marking the beginning of her musical journey.
