JOSH CULLEN

Josh Cullen Santos, born on October 22, 1993, in Las Piñas, Metro Manila, Philippines, is a versatile Filipino artist known for his work as a singer, rapper, songwriter, producer, dancer, and choreographer. He first gained widespread recognition as a member of the popular boy band SB19, where he serves as the lead rapper and vocalist. SB19, under the management of 1Z Entertainment, debuted in 2018, quickly making a name for themselves with hits like “Tilaluha” and the more widely successful “Go Up” in 2019.

Raised by a single mother, Josh faced financial hardships during his early years, which shaped his resilient character. Before diving into the entertainment industry, he worked as a computer technician and call center agent. In 2016, Josh joined ShowBT Philippines’ talent auditions, ultimately being selected to be part of SB19. His journey from a regular working individual to an influential member of one of the Philippines’ most popular groups reflects his hard work and determination.

In 2023, Josh ventured into a solo career, releasing his debut single “Wild Tonight,” which he co-produced with his cousin, Ace Santos. The song received great reception, earning him the “Breakthrough Artist of the Year” award at the 2024 Wish Music Awards.
