Jamie Wiltshire

Jamie Wiltshire, known by his stage name Jamie Black, is a British singer, songwriter, and producer hailing from Cambridge, UK. With over 15 years of experience in the music industry, Jamie has carved out a reputation as a talented vocalist and sought-after session musician.

Throughout his career, Jamie has been deeply involved in several musical projects, most notably as the frontman of indie rock bands Standing Like Statues and Dear Monday. Both bands earned recognition in the local music scene, but in late 2022, Jamie took a bold step toward a solo career, adopting the name Jamie Black. This shift allowed him to explore new musical genres, including drum and bass and pop, expanding his sound and creative reach.

As a versatile session musician, Jamie has worked with a variety of artists across different genres. His compositions have been featured on major platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, and BBC. Additionally, he’s lent his vocals to commercials and live broadcasts, further showcasing his wide-ranging skills.

Outside of his music career, Jamie co-founded Sisters First Productions, a company focused on amplifying underrepresented voices in entertainment through innovative content and technology. Despite overcoming significant challenges, such as vocal cord surgery that temporarily threatened his career, Jamie continues to make a mark in the music industry, producing music, collaborating with other artists, and giving back through philanthropic efforts.
