David Anthony Burke, better known by his stage name d4vd (pronounced “David”), is an emerging American singer and songwriter born on March 28, 2005, in Queens, New York. He moved to Houston, Texas, during his childhood, where he began developing his musical talents. Initially, d4vd produced music using BandLab to accompany his Fortnite videos, and in 2022, his breakout single, “Romantic Homicide,” quickly gained traction, reaching number three on the Hot Alternative Songs chart. This success led to his signing with Darkroom and Interscope Records later that year.

In 2023, d4vd continued to rise in prominence with the release of two EPs, Petals to Thorns and The Lost Petals, with the former receiving significant chart success across five regions. His music also found its place in popular media, as he contributed songs like “Remember Me” to the Arcane soundtrack and “Feel It” for the series Invincible.

Aside from his musical achievements, d4vd is actively involved in philanthropy. In December 2024, he hosted a toy drive at Houston’s White Oak Music Hall, where he collected toys for children in local foster homes.

Looking ahead, d4vd is preparing for the release of his debut album, Withered, on April 25, 2025. The album will feature tracks such as “Where’d It Go Wrong?”, “One More Dance,” and “Crashing,” continuing to solidify his place in the music industry.
