About HUH YUNJIN (허윤진)

Huh Yunjin, also known as Jennifer Huh, was born on October 8, 2001, in Seoul, South Korea. At just eight months old, her family moved to Albany, New York, where she spent most of her childhood. With a natural passion for music, she explored different styles and even performed as a mezzo-soprano in high school, despite never receiving formal operatic training.

At 16, Yunjin made a bold decision to return to South Korea to chase her dream of becoming a K-pop idol. She trained with various companies and later enrolled in Hanlim Multi Art School’s Applied Music Department in 2019. Initially, she planned to return to the U.S. for college, but in 2021, Hybe Corporation reached out with an offer to join their upcoming girl group, Le Sserafim—an opportunity she couldn’t pass up.

Le Sserafim debuted in 2022 under Source Music, a Hybe subsidiary, with a strong message of confidence and resilience. Yunjin quickly stood out for her powerful vocals, dynamic stage presence, and songwriting skills. Unlike many idols, she played an active role in crafting the group’s music, proving herself as more than just a performer.

Beyond group activities, Yunjin pursued solo projects, releasing songs like Raise Y_our Glass (2022), I ≠ Doll (2023), Love You Twice (2023), and Blessing in Disguise (2023). Her music often delves into self-identity and personal growth, resonating deeply with fans. By 2024, she was gaining industry recognition, earning a nomination for Best Collaboration at the MAMA Awards for her feature on Groovy Room’s Yes or No alongside Crush.

In 2025, Yunjin expanded her presence by co-hosting the web show Real Real Jinzuha Trip with fellow Le Sserafim member Kazuha, showcasing her fun and charismatic personality outside of music.

From Albany to the global K-pop stage, Yunjin’s journey is a testament to hard work, talent, and perseverance. Whether through her powerful vocals, heartfelt songwriting, or charming personality, she continues to leave a lasting impact in the industry.
