Hitta J3, born Dominicke Williams on October 5, 1992, in Compton, California, is a West Coast rapper whose music is deeply rooted in the streets that raised him. Named in honor of his older brother, Jayman—aka J3—who’s currently incarcerated, Hitta J3 carries both a legacy and a mission in his name. His breakout came in 2014 with the remix of “Do Yo Gudda,” a hard-hitting anthem that featured rap icons Kendrick Lamar, YG, and Problem. The track put him on the map as a powerful voice in the California rap scene.

Following that momentum, he signed with The Music Life Group Inc. and dropped his debut project, The Collect Call, in 2016. Over the years, he’s released a steady stream of music that mirrors his reality—gritty, unfiltered, and undeniably honest. Projects like Case Closed (2018), Freedom (2019), and The Wake Up Call 2 (2023) further established his storytelling prowess. In 2024, he reunited with Kendrick Lamar on the title track of GNX, marking his first entry on the Billboard Hot 100.
