Airbag is a powerhouse of Argentine rock, formed in Buenos Aires in 1999 by the Sardelli brothers—Patricio, Gastón, and Guido. What began as a trio playing covers of classic rock giants like Guns N’ Roses and Deep Purple soon evolved into something uniquely their own. With searing guitar riffs, emotionally charged lyrics, and an undeniable stage presence, Airbag quickly carved out their place in the Latin American music scene.

Their 2004 debut album, released under Warner Music, went Gold and Platinum in Argentina, kickstarting a journey marked by artistic evolution and growing acclaim. Albums like Blanco y Negro (2006), Una Hora a Tokyo (2008)—which earned them a Latin Grammy nomination—and Vorágine (2011) showcase the band’s range, tackling themes from personal turmoil to youthful defiance with intensity and heart.

What truly sets Airbag apart is their live energy. Whether sharing the stage with global acts like Muse and Bon Jovi or headlining legendary venues like Estadio Luna Park and Vélez Sarsfield, the band delivers unforgettable performances. In 2025, they reached another milestone with El Club de la Pelea, an album that not only reaffirmed their rock roots but also signaled their continued relevance in a rapidly shifting musical landscape. Their planned concert at Estadio River Plate is a testament to their lasting impact.
