HAIM is an American pop rock band formed in Los Angeles in 2007, consisting of three sisters: Este (bass, vocals), Danielle (guitar, vocals), and Alana Haim (guitar, keyboards, vocals). Raised in the San Fernando Valley, their music was heavily influenced by their parents’ love for 1970s classic rock and Americana.

Before forming HAIM, Danielle and Este were part of a pop rock group called Valli Girls, contributing to the soundtrack of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants in 2005. In 2007, they decided to focus on their own project, performing at local venues in Los Angeles and quickly building a following.

HAIM’s music blends pop, rock, R&B, and folk, with catchy melodies, rich harmonies, and a signature sound that sets them apart. Their debut album, Days Are Gone (2013), earned them widespread attention, featuring hits like “The Wire” and “Don’t Save Me.” Their follow-up albums, Something to Tell You (2017) and Women in Music Pt. III (2020), continued to receive critical acclaim and showcase their evolving musical identity.

After a seven-year hiatus, the band returned in March 2025 with the release of Relationships, marking a major milestone in their career. Known for their captivating live performances, HAIM has toured extensively, gaining a reputation for their dynamic shows.

In addition to their music, the Haim sisters have explored acting and other creative projects, further cementing their multifaceted personas in the entertainment world. Their ability to mix genres and maintain a distinct sound has made them a force in modern music.
