María de los Ángeles Becerra, born on February 12, 2000, in Quilmes, Buenos Aires, Argentina, is a rising star in the urban pop scene. Known simply as María Becerra, she initially gained attention as a YouTuber, sharing song covers and personal vlogs. By 2019, she made the leap into music, releasing her debut EP 222. Her remix of “Además de Mí” in 2021 catapulted her into the spotlight, becoming her first number-one hit in Argentina.

María’s career continued to soar with the release of her debut studio album, Animal, in 2021. The album was a major success, showcasing her dynamic voice and versatile sound.
