About Ha-Ash

Ha-Ash is a Latin pop duo consisting of sisters Hanna Nicole Pérez Mosa (born June 25, 1985) and Ashley Grace Pérez Mosa (born January 29, 1987), both hailing from Lake Charles, Louisiana. Their stage name is a fusion of their first names, symbolizing their close relationship and shared musical journey.

From an early age, the sisters were immersed in music, performing at their church from the ages of 5 and 6. They also trained in a variety of dance styles, including tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop, and gymnastics, and studied instruments like piano and guitar. This diverse training helped shape their eclectic musical style, blending Latin pop, country pop, electropop, funk, and pop rock. Their influences include iconic artists such as Shania Twain, Loretta Lynn, and The Chicks.

Ha-Ash’s discography includes six studio albums: Ha-Ash (2003), Mundos Opuestos (2005), Habitación Doble (2008), A Tiempo (2011), 30 de Febrero (2017), and Haashtag (2022). Their music has achieved tremendous success, with singles from 2014 to 2017 receiving gold certifications from the Mexican Association of Producers of Phonograms and Videograms. One of their standout tracks, “Lo Aprendí de Ti”, became the first Spanish-language ballad to surpass one billion views on YouTube.

Beyond music, Ha-Ash is committed to philanthropy. In 2007, they established the Fondo Ha-Ash to support immigrants and children affected by HIV/AIDS, and they’ve worked with the Save the Children Foundation on disaster relief and children’s rights initiatives. As of 2024, Ha-Ash remains a dominant force in the Latin music scene, captivating audiences with their fusion of cultures and sounds.
