Chris Webby, born Christian Talcott Webster on October 13, 1988, in Norwalk, Connecticut, is a respected American rapper known for his fast-paced delivery and sharp wordplay. His love for music began at a young age, and he was heavily influenced by artists like Eminem, which inspired him to start writing raps at just 11 years old.

In 2007, Webby enrolled at Hofstra University on a scholarship. During his time at the university, he adopted the stage name “Vindictive” and earned a reputation for his impressive freestyling at fraternity events. However, in 2009, an incident led to his arrest and expulsion from Hofstra, which proved to be a pivotal moment in his career, pushing him to focus fully on his music.

Webby’s musical journey took off with his debut mixtape, The White Noise LP, released in April 2009. He followed up with a series of well-received mixtapes, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Rapper (2009), Optimus Rhyme (2010), and The Underclassmen (2010), the latter featuring collaborations with artists like Mac Miller. His 2011 EP There Goes the Neighborhood made waves, peaking at number 101 on the Billboard 200, marking an important milestone in his career.

In October 2014, Webby released his debut studio album, Chemically Imbalanced, which debuted at number 25 on the US Billboard 200. Since then, he has continued to release music, including the 2016 mixtape Webster’s Laboratory 2.
