Le’Quincy Anderson, better known by his stage name Don Q, is an American rapper and songwriter born on April 28, 1990, in the Highbridge section of the Bronx, New York City. He developed a passion for music early on, starting to write raps in fifth grade and recording his first tracks by the age of 16.
Don Q initially rose to prominence as a battle rapper, gaining recognition for his sharp wordplay and commanding delivery. His talent caught the attention of Highbridge the Label, leading to a signing in 2016. That same year, Don Q and fellow Bronx artist A Boogie wit da Hoodie released Highbridge the Label: The Takeover Vol. 1. Don Q also dropped his debut solo mixtape, Don Season, featuring collaborations with notable artists such as A Boogie, PnB Rock, and Keir.
In 2017, Don Q followed up with Corner Stories, which included appearances from Jadakiss, Styles P, and PnB Rock.
