Bianca Miquela Landrau, known professionally as BIA, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter born on August 16, 1991, in Medford, Massachusetts. With Afro-Puerto Rican and Italian roots, her diverse heritage has deeply influenced her unique musical style, blending hip-hop, trap, and Latin rhythms.

BIA first made a name for herself in 2014, appearing on the Oxygen reality series Sisterhood of Hip Hop. That same year, she signed with Pharrell Williams’ I Am Other label, marking the start of her professional career.
