Danny Ocean

Danny Ocean, born Daniel Alejandro Morales Reyes on May 5, 1992, in Caracas, Venezuela, is a talented singer, songwriter, and record producer known for his fusion of reggaeton, dance-pop, and moombahton. Growing up in a Christian household, Ocean was deeply influenced by music from an early age, with his father, a pianist, playing a pivotal role in shaping his musical journey. His childhood was marked by extensive travel, living in countries like the French Antilles, Africa, and Japan before returning to Caracas at the age of 13.

Ocean’s musical career took off in 2009 when he launched his YouTube channel, producing electronic music under the alias Danny O.C.T. However, it was his 2016 hit single “Me Rehúso” that propelled him to international fame. Written, produced, and recorded entirely by Ocean himself, the song resonated with audiences globally, earning accolades such as Favorite Song at the Kids’ Choice Awards México and Best Party Anthem at the MTV Millennial Awards.

Riding on the success of “Me Rehúso,” Ocean signed with Atlantic Records and released his debut album 54 + 1 in 2019. He continued to gain momentum with subsequent projects, including @dannocean and @dannocean 2 in 2022, and his latest album REFLEXA in 2024. Throughout his career, Ocean has collaborated with several prominent artists, securing his position as a key figure in the Latin music scene.
