Bibi Bourelly, born Badriia Ines Bourelly on July 14, 1994, in Berlin, Germany, is a German-American singer and songwriter known for her raw, unapologetic voice and emotionally charged lyrics. Raised in a creative household, her father, Jean-Paul Bourelly, is a Haitian-American jazz guitarist, while her mother, Ines, was a Moroccan-born artist who led the Art Department at Berlin’s House of World Cultures. Her mother’s passing when Bibi was young deeply influenced her perspective and music, fueling her fearless approach to songwriting.

At 16, Bourelly moved to the U.S., determined to carve out a space for herself in the music industry. She made an unforgettable entrance by writing Rihanna’s 2015 hit “Bitch Better Have My Money,” a song that perfectly captured her bold and rebellious energy.
