Beogradski Sindikat is a pioneering Serbian hip-hop collective that originated on March 21, 1999, in Belgrade. The group was formed through the fusion of two underground hip-hop acts, Red Zmaja (Order of the Dragon) and TUMZ (Tehnika Upravljanja Mikrofonom i Znanjem), along with solo artists MC Flex (Feđa) and Šef Sale. Over the years, the collective expanded its roster to include members like Prota and DJ IRon, who helped solidify their influential role in the Serbian hip-hop scene.

Renowned for their politically charged and socially conscious lyrics, Beogradski Sindikat tackles issues such as political corruption, social inequality, and national identity. Their music often carries a strong sense of patriotism and social activism, deeply resonating with listeners in Serbia and the wider Balkan region.

The collective’s discography spans several landmark albums, including their debut BSSST… Tišinčina! (2001), followed by Svi Zajedno (2005) and Diskretni Heroji (2010). After a hiatus, they returned in 2015 with the single “BS Armija,” keeping their presence strong in the hip-hop community. Their 2023 album, Sindikalno Proleće, marked a major comeback, featuring 23 tracks with collaborations from notable artists like Pavlina Radovanović and Gramophonedzie.

Looking ahead, Beogradski Sindikat continues to inspire with their upcoming album El Salvador (2025). Over two decades since their formation, the collective remains a pillar in Serbian music, celebrated for their unwavering dedication to authenticity and social critique.
