BAEKHYUN

Byun Baek-hyun, widely known as Baekhyun, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and actor born on May 6, 1992, in Bucheon, South Korea. He rose to fame as a member of EXO, a popular South Korean-Chinese boy group formed by SM Entertainment, which debuted in 2012. Baekhyun quickly became known for his powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence, contributing to EXO’s massive success.

Beyond his work with EXO, Baekhyun has enjoyed a thriving solo career. He made his solo debut in 2019 with the EP City Lights, which sold over half a million copies in South Korea. His subsequent releases, Delight (2020) and Bambi (2021), solidified his solo stardom, both achieving commercial success. In 2019, Baekhyun also joined the supergroup SuperM, further expanding his influence in the music world.

Aside from music, Baekhyun has pursued acting, appearing in the popular dramas Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016) and To the Beautiful You (2012). His versatility extends to hosting as well, having co-hosted the music show Inkigayo in 2014.
