YOUNG POSSE

Young Posse is a vibrant South Korean girl group formed by DSP Media in collaboration with Beats Entertainment. The group debuted on October 18, 2023, with their EP Macaroni Cheese, which blends K-pop with hip-hop and rap influences, quickly establishing their unique sound in the industry. The name “Young Posse” reflects the group’s youthful energy and collective purpose, combining the English word “young” with the Latin “posse,” meaning “to be able to.”

The group’s lineup consists of five members: Sunhye, the leader, alongside Yeonjung, Jiana, Doeun, and Jieun. Each member brings their own flair to the group, contributing to their diverse musical style. Their debut EP, Macaroni Cheese, features standout tracks like “Macaroni Cheese” and “OTB,” which introduced their energetic performances and rap-infused pop sound. Following their debut, they released the Young Posse Up remix in 2024, collaborating with artists such as Verbal Jint, NSW Yoon, and Token.

In 2024, they dropped their XXL EP, which included the title track “XXL,” followed by Ate That, their third EP, showcasing the group’s evolving style. Their music continues to gain traction, and their dynamic performances have earned them recognition, including the “Discovery of the Year” award at the D Awards in 2025 and the “Hot Potential Award” at The Fact Music Awards in 2024. Known for their high-energy performances and genre fusion, Young Posse is making significant waves in the K-pop industry and gaining a growing global fanbase.
