Ikky

Ikwinder Singh, better known by his stage name Ikky, is a dynamic Canadian musician and record producer celebrated for his unique fusion of Punjabi music with hip-hop, pop, and electronic sounds. Born in 1999 in Rexdale, Toronto, to Sikh immigrant parents from India, Ikky’s passion for music was influenced by his father, a songwriter in his own right.

Ikky began his career in music production in 2017 and quickly rose to prominence with hits like “Diamond,” featuring Gurnam Bhullar, and “Bambiha Bole” with Sidhu Moosewala and Amrit Maan. His collaborations extend to a variety of renowned artists, including Diljit Dosanjh, Tory Lanez, Shubh, and Karan Aujla. Tracks like “Chauffeur” and “Baller” earned spots on the Canadian Hot 100, showcasing his expanding influence in the music industry.

In 2021, Ikky co-founded 4N Records, a label designed to spotlight South Asian talent on the global stage. The label’s first release, “80 90,” featured artists Amrit Maan and Garry Sandhu. The same year, he teamed up with Nseeb for the EP “Say My Name,” further cementing his reputation.

Ikky’s role in the industry grew even more when he became the creative director of 91 North Records in 2023, a collaboration between Warner Music Canada and Warner Music India, dedicated to supporting South Asian artists. In 2024, he released “Ikky’s House,” an EP blending Punjabi and Hindi elements with dance music, further solidifying his innovative approach to globalizing Punjabi music.
