Armenta

Victoria Armenta is a talented Mexican-Chilean artist and educator whose work beautifully blends her diverse cultural roots with modern artistic expressions. Born in the United States to Mexican and Chilean parents, Victoria identifies as a third-generation Hispanic woman, navigating the complexities of a bicultural identity that deeply informs her creative process.

Her artistic practice is multifaceted, spanning various mediums such as painting, mixed media, sculpture, and even DJing at local venues. Victoria’s artwork often features bold and unapologetic portrayals of people of color and intimate domestic scenes, aimed at pushing the boundaries of traditional art forms while fostering a dialogue about culture, identity, and representation.

In 2024, she earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from Houston Christian University, refining her artistic vision and honing her skills. In addition to her personal art practice, Victoria is passionate about education. She has taught students from pre-kindergarten through college, believing that art serves as a powerful tool for personal expression and social reflection. Through teaching, she aims to share her love for creativity and inspire others to see the world through an artistic lens.
