Apache

Apache, born Larry Delsin Rada Herrera on May 15, 1982, in Baruta, Venezuela, is one of the most influential figures in Latin American hip-hop. He first made waves in the late ‘90s as part of Cuarto Poder, a Caracas-based rap group that helped shape the Venezuelan hip-hop movement. Their socially conscious lyrics and raw storytelling earned them a devoted following, setting the stage for Apache’s solo career.

In 2008, he stepped into the spotlight with his debut album Sin Afinar Mucho, quickly followed by Afinando (2010) and Lo Necesario (2012). His music blends traditional hip-hop beats with Latin influences, making his sound both energetic and deeply relatable. Apache’s signature style—sharp lyricism, smooth flow, and an unwavering connection to street culture—resonates with fans across generations.

A defining aspect of his career has been his collaborations. His work with the legendary Venezuelan rapper Canserbero remains some of the most powerful in Latin hip-hop, tackling themes of struggle, survival, and social justice. He has also ventured into other genres, teaming up with Colombian artist JL Mafia in 2021 for the dancehall-infused track Only You Baby, demonstrating his versatility.

Known for his electrifying stage presence, Apache has performed at major festivals like Jamming Festival and Festival Estéreo Picnic.
