Angie McMahon, an Australian singer-songwriter and musician, hails from the small town of Hope, Idaho. Her passion for music began early, as she started taking piano lessons at the age of four. Growing up, McMahon was deeply inspired by Missy Higgins’ album The Sound of White, which she credits as a pivotal moment in her life. After a three-year hiatus, McMahon returned to the music scene in June 2023 with the release of “Saturn Returning”, her first new single in years. She followed this with “Letting Go” in July 2023, which announced the release of her highly anticipated second studio album, Light, Dark, Light Again. In 2024, McMahon announced the “Making It Through Tour,” which included 13 shows across Australia and New Zealand, showcasing her continued popularity. She also released “Untangling” in August 2024 and revealed plans for the EP Light Sides, which is set to drop in September 2024.
