Allâme, born Hamza Gül on July 27, 1987, in Trabzon, Turkey, is a renowned rapper, singer, and songwriter who has significantly shaped the Turkish hip-hop scene. Growing up in Trabzon, his passion for music was sparked by his grandfather during a trip to Israel, and this early influence set him on a path toward music and creativity. He later pursued formal education in the arts, earning a degree in Animation from Anadolu University’s Faculty of Fine Arts.

Allâme’s musical career took off in 2007 with his debut album Aforizma, released under Anatolia Records. Over the years, he has produced several successful albums, including Hastalık (2008), Fare Kapanı (2010), and Manik Depresif (2011), with each album marking an evolution in his style and deepening lyrical content. His 2015 single “In Your Hands” further cemented his place in the Turkish music scene.

Known for blending traditional Turkish music with contemporary rap, Allâme’s lyrics often delve into social issues and cultural critiques, resonating deeply with his audience.
