About Zinoleesky
Zinoleesky—born Oniyide Azeez on April 21, 2000, in the lively neighborhood of Agege, Lagos State, Nigeria—is one of the standout voices in today’s Nigerian music scene. Known for fusing Afrobeats with street pop and melodic rap, he brings a raw, relatable energy to every track. Growing up in a Yoruba-speaking Muslim household, Zinoleesky was drawn to music from an early age. He attended Lively Kiddies Nursery and Primary School and later State High School, but it was his freestyle videos on Instagram that first caught the public’s eye. A major turning point came when superstar Kizz Daniel noticed him—an unexpected moment that pushed Zinoleesky to pursue music as a serious career.
In December 2019, his hustle paid off when he signed with Marlian Records, founded by street-pop sensation Naira Marley. Just a year later, he released his debut EP Chrome Eccentric, featuring street anthems like “Ma Pariwo” and “Kilofeshe,” which quickly became fan favorites. His second EP, Grit & Lust, dropped in December 2022 and showcased his artistic growth with deeper themes and refined production. In 2023, his collaboration with Adekunle Gold on “Party No Dey Stop” debuted at number one in Nigeria, cementing his place in the industry.
Outside the studio, Zinoleesky’s personal life occasionally makes headlines. He previously dated Shubomi Fashola, Naira Marley’s sister, and in 2023, he welcomed his first child, a daughter named Zendaya. Despite fame, Zinoleesky remains grounded, continuing to turn real-life stories into timeless music.
