Zimmer90 is an indie-electropop band from Stuttgart, Germany, formed in 2017. The band consists of Joscha Becker (vocals, keyboard) and Finn Gronemeyer (bass, keyboard), with their name “Zimmer90” translating to “Room90,” symbolizing a creative space where their interests in music, art, design, and architecture come together.

Initially a trio with Michael Schoett (drums), the band transitioned in 2023, with Schoett moving to a live drummer role. Zimmer90’s sound blends soothing synths, disco-inspired basslines, and percussion-heavy beats, all enriched by Joscha’s distinctive vocals. Their 2020 debut single, “Movin’,” introduced their signature style, but it was their 2023 track “What Love Is” that truly put them on the map. The song went viral on TikTok, gaining widespread attention and becoming a staple in year-in-review compilations.

In 2024, Zimmer90 expanded their reach with a sold-out European tour, performing in cities like Amsterdam, Paris, and London. They also graced prestigious festivals such as Superbloom and Zermatt Unplugged, alongside their first U.S. tour, which included a memorable appearance at the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico City.

Zimmer90’s discography includes the EPs “Fall Back” (2021), “Spaces” (2023), “Lake Diaries” (2023), and “What Love Is” (2024). Their evolving sound, a fusion of electronic and acoustic elements, continues to captivate a growing international audience.
