Zerb’s journey into the world of electronic music began at the age of 14 in 2012. Inspired by influential DJs such as Skrillex and Deadmau5, he started producing his own tracks and sharing them on platforms like YouTube and SoundCloud. His early work was heavily influenced by progressive house and big room, showcasing his ability to craft dynamic and engaging electronic music.

In 2015, Zerb began to gain recognition by posting remixes online, blending deep house and tropical house elements. His remix of ZHU’s “Faded,” in collaboration with Vintage Culture, marked a turning point in his career. The track’s success led to Zerb being managed by Entourage and performing at major events across Brazil. By 2016, he was already a confirmed act at Lollapalooza, one of the country’s most prominent music festivals.

While building his music career, Zerb pursued academic studies, earning a marketing degree from the University of São Paulo in 2019. In 2018, he released the song “With You” with Giulia Be, which reached number 9 on the Spotify viral charts. This track, infused with pop and tropical house influences, highlighted Zerb’s ability to create music that resonates with a wide audience. His 2019 release, “Wherever U Wanna Go,” saw him working alongside Júlia Gomes, DJs Sandeville, and Duncan, further showcasing his versatility.

In 2020, Zerb achieved international recognition with the release of “Like 2 Party,” a collaboration with Italian DJ Noto and Dutch DJ Marc Benjamin. The track became one of the best-selling electro house songs on Beatport. However, it was his 2023 hit “Mwaki,” featuring Kenyan singer Sofiya Nzau, that truly catapulted him to global fame. The track, performed in the Kikuyu language, went viral across platforms like TikTok and charted in Europe, with remixes by major artists like Major Lazer and Tiësto.
