Zack Knight

Zack Knight, born on November 22, 1991, in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, England, is a British singer, songwriter, and producer recognized for his unique blend of R&B, Western, and South Asian musical influences. With a Pakistani-Punjabi mother and an Afro-Asian father, his multicultural background has played a significant role in shaping his distinctive sound.

Knight started his career under the stage name ‘Zeekay,’ collaborating with well-known artists like Tinie Tempah, Ginuwine, and Iyaz. His debut single, My Moment, released in 2008, earned him significant attention, securing third place on the Myspace R&B charts. This success led to a production deal with Mr. Skills. As he evolved as an artist, he transitioned to using his real name, Zack Knight, and gained further recognition with singles like All Over Again (2012) and Who I Am, which was featured on iTunes’ “New & Noteworthy.”

In 2014, Knight signed with T-Series, India’s largest music label, and released hit tracks such as Dheere, Nakhre, and Enemy, many of which topped the BBC Asian Network charts. His 2018 collaboration with Jasmin Walia on Bom Diggy became a massive success, amassing over a billion views on YouTube and being featured in the Bollywood film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

Knight continues to innovate, blending R&B with Bollywood and Middle Eastern influences. In 2021, he paid tribute to his late father with the release of his three-track album Dear Dad. His recent collaboration with Nora Fatehi on Dirty Little Secret in 2022 solidified his international presence, further establishing him as a prominent figure in both UK and global music scenes.
